Platelet Rich Plasma + ACELL
Platelet Rich Plasma(PRP) therapy
PRP is an emerging nonsurgical based therapy for natural stimulation of thinning hair. The primary purpose of using PRP in hair restoration is to stimulate inactive hair follicles into an active growth phase.
The procedure involves drawing about 10 ML of blood and centrifuging it so that the plasma with platelets collect in a tube. The platelets contain powerful growth factors that are very useful in tissue regeneration and healing. It is then injected on the scalp or rubbed on the scalp to promote hair growth.
Who should opt for PRP?
Men and women who have thinning hair
Men/ Women who have Androgenic Alopecia
In some instances, Men/ Women with Alopecia Areata
The treatment requires 6 sittings, evenly spaced 3 weeks apart for best results.
Patient should see a growth in density of hair after the fourth sitting. The treatment not only promotes hair growth but also strengthens the hair follicles. It is quite a safe procedure without any side effects.
Along with the PRP, we recommend our 90-day integrated Hair Loss program that included Mesotherapy and LLLT to address hair fall most effectively with a combination of therapies.
ACell is a unique proprietary medical product used in various applications for human and animal medicine and surgery. The product is the “only-one-of-its-kind” protein developed and manufactured from the tissues of pig bladders.
The ACell treatment is considered to be one of the latest inventions in hair treatment.
As a stand-alone procedure, the product is essentially injected into the subcutaneous tissues of the scalp and combined with the patient’s blood-platelet rich plasma (PRP). The procedure is considered essentially painless. The scalp is anesthetized with Lidocaine. Small amounts of the product mixture is then injected subcutaneously where the hair dermal papillae (hair root) is located beneath the skin.
